전남치대 양규호 교수(소아치과)가 International Journal of Pharmaceutics 2003년 4월호에 ‘Preparation and evaluation of bioadhesive benzocaine gels for enhanced local anesthetic effect’ 논문을 공동 게재했다. 이 논문은 도포 마취제로 사용되는 15% benzocaine의 마취효과 지속시간과 마취효과의 증가를 위해 diethylene glycol이 포함돼야 한다는 것을 쥐를 이용한 실험으로 설명했다. 김용재 기자
