전남대 치의학전문대학원이 오는 3일 전남대 용봉홀에서 ‘2007 BK21 국제 심포지엄’을 개최한다.
이번 심포지엄에서는 ‘Current Concept on Implant Therapy’를 대주제로 한국을 비롯한 일본, 중국, 미국 등에서 유명연자들이 참석해 임플랜트 관련 최신 정보를 공유한다.
이날 수다 일본 동경치대 교수는 ‘Clinical Tips for Electronic Canal Length Measurement’에 대해 다루며, 예린 중국 북경대 교수는 ‘Approaches and problems of peri-implant soft tissue management for esthetics’를 중심으로 강연할 예정이다.

또 존 슐트 미국 미네소타대 교수는 ‘A Critical Evaluation of a 6mm Length Implant’를 주제로 진행하며, 고야마 일본 토호쿠대 교수는 ‘Implants in Maxillofacial Rehabilitation’에 대해 자세히 강연할 계획이다.

아울러 이번 심포지엄에는 국내 연자들도 대거 참여한다. 김명래 이화여대 교수를 비롯해 이진환 원장, 구영 서울대 교수, 조인호 단국대 교수, 박상원 전남대 교수 등이 연자로 나와 ▲Current advances and New Philosophy in Implant Treatment ▲Alveolar Ridge Preservation for ideal esthetics and function ▲The soft tissue management for the long-term success of dental implant ▲Measurement of Implant Stability in Clinical Implant Dentistry ▲Implant stability and success 등 다양한 주제로 이뤄진다.
전남대 치전원 관계자는 “이번 심포지엄에서도 국제적으로 유명한 연자들을 초청해 임플랜트의 최신 임상뿐 아니라 기초학에 대한 많은 정보도 교류하고 토론할 수 있는 자리가 될 것”이라며 많은 관심을 당부했다.
