예정  전남대 치전원 BK21 심포지엄/6일

사업단 연구정보 공유·성과 발표

전남대학교 치의학전문대학원(원장 오희균 교수)가 오는 6일(금) BK21 심포지엄을 개최한다.
이번 심포지엄에서는 이진하 BK21 계약교수가 Cobalt chloride-Induced Apoptosis in Mouse Embryonic Stem Cells via both mitochondrial- and death receptor apoptotic pathway에 대해 발표하는 것을 비롯해 ▲고현미 BK21 계약교수의 Glutamine protects mice from lethal endotoxic shock via a rapid induction of MAP kinase phosphatase-1 ▲장원구 BK21 계약교수의 Metformin, an oral anti-diabetic drug, stimulates the osteoblast differentiation via AMPK-activated SHP expression in mouse calvarial cells ▲정경진 BK21 계약교수의 RtxA1-induced expression of the small GTPase Rac2 plays a key role in the pathogenicity of Vibrio vulnificus에 대한 내용이 발표될 예정이다. 

아울러 치의학 석·박사 복합과정을 이수한 이상원, 이꽃님 씨가 Effect of EGCG on adult neurogenesis from hippocampal stem cell after irradiation, COMP-Ang-1, a soluble and stable variant of Angiopoietin-1, plays a protective role in serum-deprived mesenchymal cells through the PI3K and MAPK pathway에 대해 구연발표를 하며, BK21 참여대학원생 10명들의 연구결과가 포스터로 발표될 예정이다.

한편 전남대학교 치의학전문대학원 ‘고령화시대 구강조직재생 서비스인력양성사업단’은 2006년부터 제2단계 BK21사업단으로 선정돼 많은 연구인력들을 양성하고 있다. 매년 연구성과를 발표하는  BK21 심포지엄을 개최함으로써 사업단 내에서의 연구정보 공유와 치의학전문대학원생의 연구력 증진에 노력하고 있다.
