전 세계 디지털치의학의 현재와 미래를 조망하고 실질적인 임상 노하우를 얻을 수 있는 자리가 열린다.

대한디지털치의학회(이하 KADD)와 국제디지털치의학회(이하 IADDM)는 오는 2023년 2월 11일부터 12일까지 양일간 서울 한국과학기술회관에서 ‘IADDM 6th Annual Session’과 ‘2023 KADD Annual Symposium’을 포함한 국제학술대회를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

‘Welcome to the Digital Platform in Dentistry: Design Your own Digital Practice’라는 대주제 아래 개최되는 이번 행사에서는 국내외 디지털치의학 전문가들이 한자리에 모여 관련 분야의 발전을 위한 심도 있는 논의 및 강연을 펼칠 예정이다.

우선 11일 ‘IADDM 6th Annual Session’ 현장에서는 ▲Pf. Aaron Cho(미국)의 ‘How to Become Digital Avengers’ ▲Pf. DooHyoung Lee의 ‘Digital Transformation in Prosthetic Treatments: 3D Image Collection and Virtual Dentofacial Image Integration’ ▲Pf. Wael Att(미국)의 ‘Optimizing the workflow for the full arch implant prosthesis’ ▲Dr. KoonHo Rha의 ‘Digital Health Care 2023’ ▲Dr. JongChul Kim의 ‘Dental Avatar’ ▲Pf. YongSheng Zhou(중국)의 ‘Practical Researches and Application on Fully Digital Process in Prosthodontics’ ▲Pf. Manabu Kanazawa(일본)의 ‘The Cutting Edge of Digital Denture’ ▲Pf. JungBo Huh의 ‘Removable zirconia prostheses’ ▲Dr. Wongun Chang의 ‘Digital Integration in Ortho-Prostho Combined Treatment’ 강연이 예정돼 있다.

동시에 11일 ‘2023 KADD Annual Symposium’ 현장에서는 ▲Dr. SooYoung Lee·Heechul Kim, CDT. DongHwan Goh의 ‘Live CAD Competition-Design Your Restorations EASY’ ▲Pf. Ji-Mahn Park의 ‘Digital occlusion in clinical practice’ ▲Dr. Jongmok Han의 ‘Upgrade your virtual articulators’가 진행된다.

아울러 이번 행사는 특히 KADD 고문인 한중석 교수가 IADDM 회장에 당선된 이후 국내에 국제 규모 행사를 유치하기 위해 적극적으로 힘쓴 결과인 만큼 많은 이들로부터 관심이 집중되고 있다. 

학회 측은 지난 2016년 부산에서 성공적으로 치러진 ‘2016 IADDM’을 더욱더 발전시킨 형태로 준비하고 있다고 설명했으며 남은 준비 기간 성공적인 행사 개최에 총력을 다하겠다고 강조했다.
